It’s been another busy season of construction at our Summerlea Woods community in Binbrook as we continue to welcome new homeowners and make progress on site. Here’s a look at some new updates that have happened this month.
We are excited to have completed 81 new homes in the community that are now occupied by their homeowners. 54 more homes are currently under construction and will continue to occupy throughout 2021. Curbs and sidewalks are 50% completed with the rest scheduled for August 2021. This is an update that homeowners are sure to look forward to while spending time outdoors in the coming months, and with the recent opening of Our Lady of Hope Catholic School on March 9th. With these changes, phase 1 of the site is expected to be completed by October of 2021.
In light of the COVID-19 situation, Empire is taking extra precautions for the health and safety of our team members, homeowners, customers and vendor/trade partners. Our construction sites remain open and we are doing our part to maintain physical distancing through modified scheduling and staffing.
